The heart chakra is the center of your chakras and is responsible for a lot. It is an energy center for our spiritual, mental and physical well-being. The green chakra is associated with love, compassion, trust, forgiveness and relationships.
If this chakra is unbalanced, you may feel separated from the world around you. This blockage can lead to a disconnection with the people we love, self-love and love for the earth. Relationship problems grow and we can lose hope. Some psychological symptoms of an unbalanced heart chakra are faithlessness, distrust and detachment. Physical symptoms include asthma, and respiratory problems, breast issues and upper back, arm and shoulder pain.
There are a few simple techniques that you can do to unblock and balance your heart chakra. Just like the other chakras, there are mantras, hand poses, yoga poses and diet changes. The mantra used for your heart chakra is “yam” (“a” is pronounced as “ah”). While in a meditative state, repeat this mantra 6-10 times. For the heart chakra hand pose, make an “ok” sign with both hands. With your left hand, touch the base of your sternum with the tips of your index finger and thumb (while in the “ok” position). Rest your right hand on your lap (still in the “ok” position). Hold position the position for 5 minutes. There are some yoga poses that are good for your heart chakra, such as the camel, cobra and fish pose. And finally, foods that help balance and clear your heart chakra are broccoli, kale and other leafy greens.

Your Solar Plexus chakra is located at the level of your diaphragm. It drives your energy, vitality and will power. In addition, it powers your self-control, purpose and your gut feeling.
If your solar plexus is unbalanced, you may feel stressed and powerless. This can leave you mentally and physically exhausted. You will notice a lack of memory and concentration, feeling un-centered, and suffer insomnia and sugar addictions. On a physical level, there can be digestive issues, food allergies and a sluggish metabolism.
When working to balance and heal your solar plexus chakra, you can use mantras, hand poses, yoga positions and eat certain foods. The mantra for this chakra is “ram” (“a” is pronounced as “ah”). You can meditate using this mantra to help heal your solar plexus. The hand pose for the solar plexus is to put your fingertips together making a tent position with your hands with your fingertips pointing away from your body. Cross your thumbs, left thumb over right thumb. Hold this position for 5-10 minutes during meditation. Yoga poses that help this chakra are full boat pose, bow pose and crocodile pose. Corn, yellow sweet peppers and yellow lentils are great foods to balance and heal this chakra.
Of course, doing all of these while surrounding yourselves with crystals is going to boost the healing and help with balancing. The following are crystals that help balance your solar plexus:

The sacral chakra is the energy center for relationships, sensual desire and creativity. This chakra can be found below your naval. This chakra resonates to the color orange chakra and aids in intimacy, emotional needs and the ability to let go.
If the sacral chakra is unbalanced, you will have a lack of energy flow throughout your body. This can lead to addictions, low self-confidence and dependency issues. Physical symptoms can include kidney problems, infections and sexual disorders.
There are a few simple techniques that you can do to unblock and balance your sacral chakra. Just like the root chakra, there are mantras, hand poses, yoga poses and diet changes. The mantra used for your sacral chakra is “vam” (“a” is pronounced as “ah”). While in a meditative state, repeat this mantra 6-10 times. For the sacral chakra hand pose, rest your hands in your lap one on top of another, palms facing up. Touch the tips of your thumbs gently together. Hold position the position for 5 minutes. There are some yoga poses that are good for your sacral chakra, such as the cobra pose, triangle pose and twist pose. And finally, foods that help balance and clear your sacral chakra are oranges, carrots and nuts/seeds.
And, of course, surrounding yourself with crystals while using these techniques will boost the healing and help with balancing. The following crystals can help balance your sacral chakra:
Carnelian – Highly Energetic; Protects against envy, fear & rage; Banishes Sorrow; Sensual; Used to cleanse negativity from other stones; Stimulates inquisitiveness & initiative

The root chakra is most known for grounding and security at the base of your spine. The root chakra correlates to the color red and is also associated with survival, health and abundance.
If your root chakra is unbalanced you may be feeling loneliness, ungrounded or anxious. Physically you may be feeling lower back pain or problems with your groin, hips and legs.
There are a few simple techniques used that can unblock and balance your root chakra. You can use mantras, hand poses, yoga poses and your diet. Use the following mantra: “Lam” (“a” is pronounced as “ah”). Focus your thoughts on unblocking and balancing your root chakra while repeating “Lam”. There are chakra points around your hands called Mudra Chakras, and doing simple hand poses can unblock a chakra. For the root chakra, form a circle with your index finger and thumb (similar to an OK sign). Hold this pose for a few minutes while focusing on your root chakra. Another method is using yoga poses, such as mountain pose, warrior pose and bridge pose. Since the color red is associated with the root chakra, eating foods such as beets, pomegranates and apples will also balance and unblock her chakra.
Of course, doing all of these while surrounding yourselves with crystals is going to boost the healing and help with grounding. The following are crystals that can help balance your root chakra:
For as long as I can remember, I have loved the moon! It doesn’t matter what phase the moon is in, I am always looking for it. So, of course, it’s only natural that I would want to create a jewelry collection based off the moon.
When I first got this idea, all I knew was that the jewelry would be moon blessed for an entire moon cycle. I had decided to use faceted gems and set them myself. Once I decided what I wanted to create, I had to start thinking about how to make this happen. I had to think about the size, types and shapes of the gems. I had to figure out what tools I would need. Then I had to learn how to set the gems.
The size was easy; around 10mm seemed to be perfect. The shapes and types of crystals, I left open. I decided I would use gems that spoke to me during the shopping process. My first purchases where Amethyst, Smokey Quartz and Blue Topaz. I had also decided to use Sterling Silver settings for several reasons. Sterling Silver is affordable for everyone and silver holds the moons energy the best – which I discovered during my research of the properties of silver.
After I had purchased the gems and settings, I put them out to absorb energy on the night of new moon (the first phase of the lunar cycle – indicated by lack of moon light). I repeated this during each phase - new moon, waxing moon, full moon and waning moon. In addition, - I said a blessing over the pieces. After entire cycle had completed, each gem was infused with the energy of the phases.
The new collection is called “The Celestial Collection®”. Each piece in this collection will be moon charged and Reiki Blessed. Additionally, each piece will come with information on the four moon blessings, how to re-bless them and how to connect your own energy with your new piece, and make it truly your own. The Celestial Collection is very important to me; it holds the most stable thing on this earth. You can always count on the moon’s energy!
When I was 35, I had a conversation with a healer and one of the things he told me was that my true gifts would come to light when I was 37.I didn’t know the extent of this statement. I wondered how much more could there be???? I was already creating healing jewelry and was a certified Reiki Healer. Well, about 6 months ago my life changed and hasn’t been the same.
Finally, I was hearing messages (although, I think I always have but didn’t always listen). Readings were smoother and I felt more confident in my messages. The real shock came when clients approached my table. I started to receive messages about what the client needed when it came to crystals too.
Each show brings different experiences, some of them are profound. Through all of this, I am struggling with a few things. When I hear these messages, I have a hard time deciphering whose guides and angels I am speaking with. I have been told that I need to ask them to identify themselves, either by name or to whom they “belong”. The other problem I have is I don’t have a filter; things just fly out of my mouth without an explanation. I am working to learn how to filter so that I don’t upset anyone!!! Lastly, the empath in me, feels what you feel when you pick up the perfect piece.
The North Carolina show was big for me; I had a few experiences that I will always remember. I actually had clients come to me requesting that I help them find the crystal they need. They had heard from other clients that I could do this. I had another client’s guides come through and had me give her a message - her guides identified themselves and it took me by shock.
So what can you expect from me when you approach my booth? Well I can tune into you and help you find the crystal you need, I may even have a message for you and I might even cry.
All my life, I have been sensitive. I cried easily, my stomach was in knots most of the time and I hated being around large crowds. I used to wonder why I would cry while reading a book or watching TV. Then one day in March of 2013, the answer came to me and my life changed.
On that day in March, I was vending at an expo. I had a wonderful lady approach my table and we had an instant connection. She and I talked about how sensitive she was and I explained my sensitivity to her. That’s when she said “You are an empath”. Those four words changed my life!
I asked her what an empath was and she started explaining how I was soaking up everyone’s energies around me. Quickly, I realized that not only was I feeling everyone’s emotions, but I also take on any physical or mental problems they may have. This affected my health - I was on anti-depressants and I had been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and digestive issues.
I learned to stay away from toxic relationships and situations. I limit my interaction with the public whenever possible. This enables me to do the work I love to do at shows. Additionally, I stopped watching the news or reading the newspaper.
I quickly learned how to shield and began using crystals to protect myself. I shield myself by imagining a white light surrounding me and use labradorite to provide energetic protection. I make sure that I am grounded every morning and carry hematite or black tourmaline with me to help. I use malachite to absorb any bad feelings that may arise and lepidolite to calm me when I feel stressed.
By taking these precautions, I no longer take anti-depressants, my pain has almost disappeared and I currently only have acid reflux. I still cry when I read a book or watch TV but I am a lot more emotionally stable.
I recently had the pleasure of meeting a young lady at a show. She was complaining about a stomach ache to her mom. I knew immediately what was wrong; I talked to her and her mom about being empathic. We talked about how she can help herself when she feels overwhelmed and how being empathic isn’t a bad thing and can be managed. I can only hope I was able to help her because growing up feeling like that just plain sucks.
I am still learning something new every day about being an empath and I hope that I can pass this information on for anyone else going through this.
You’re headed to your local psychic fair for a reading with a lot of questions and information you are seeking. There will be many types of readers so what type of reader should you see? Each reader is different and has a different method of reading. Some readers speak with their Guides and Spirit while others use divination tools such as cards.
As I learned about the metaphysical world, I quickly realized the benefits of divination tools. I believe these tools can aid and help you go in the right direction. My first experience was with tarot / oracle cards. I also experienced readings with runes, followed by palmistry, toe reading and pendulums. Tarot cards are not much different than playing cards. The decks have 76 cards, which includes 20 major arcana cards and 56 minor arcana cards. Although all tarot decks are basically the same, the art is different. Tarot can be complex to learn, due to the symbolism in the art.
Oracle cards are often simpler. Each deck is different and unique, and has a theme. The cards are shuffled with the intention to answer your questions and laid out into a spread. Each reader uses a spread that works for him/her. My style is to just lay them in row as they are pulled.
Once the cards are laid out, the reader sees and interprets the messages that the cards are relaying.
Runes are symbols carved into crystals, wood or glass pieces. The runes are put into a bag or bowl and either the reader or you will pull out a Rune to be interpreted. Palmistry and Toe readings use the shapes and lines in your hands and feet. You are probably saying “Toe Reading?” and I say, it’s a must have! (I’ve had one before and it was amazing) Pendulums are a weight suspended from a chain or cord. Most people will use crystal points with a chain attached. The energy that surges through your fingertips along with your guides, is what makes it move. Pendulums can be used to answer a yes / no answer or in a healing.
I also feel we should mention Mediumship. Mediumship is communication with those that have passed on to the other side. A Medium can also connect with your guides. Some Mediums use a divination tool to receive any messages that spirits and guides want to share
The most important part of receiving a reading is the connection you have with the reader. Take a few minutes before the reading starts to make sure you have a connection. This will make your reading amazing.
I used to wonder why I didn’t have what I wanted. How did everyone around me have what they wanted? Then I learned the secret….Manifesting Your Dreams.
If you want something, ask the universe. I’m not saying, you can manifest a TV but you can manifest the funds for a TV. My jewelry went from a hobby to a small business with the use of manifesting. I have acquired the skills to use manifesting to my benefit. You do it with a few simple rules:
1. Visualize what your intentions are.
2. Have a positive attitude when saying your intentions. Keep all negative words and thoughts out of your head. For instance, instead of saying: “I don’t want to be sick anymore” say, “I am healthy”.
3. Be very clear about your intentions. Using the above example, we would say “My lungs are healthy and pink”.
4. I like to say an affirmation, such as “I call on my guides, angels and spirit to embrace my lungs and make them healthy.”
5. I also have a few physical items that I use. I use crystals that aid in manifesting along with crystals that are used with what I am asking for. For example: I would use quartz (manifesting) and a blue lace agate (lungs). Banana paper is a great tool for manifesting; I have a banana paper notebook that I write everything down in. I got my notebook for $3.99 at Target.
6. Lastly, you have to believe in manifesting and know that the universe is there for you.
After going through these steps, I repeat them at least 3 times for each intention. As time goes on, your manifesting skills will improve and become second nature.

What type of Healing is for me?
I have had many healings done in the past few years; some were amazing while others were lackluster. It can be overwhelming when you go to a metaphysical expo and see large numbers of healers. How does one choose? I used to listen to my friends, go to who they thought was good. What I should have done was listen to my intuition. I have come up with a surefire way of choosing a healer for you.
1. Start off by observing the healer with other clients. Now, every healing is different but I still want to know what their moves are and what to expect.
2. When you are ready approach a healer, ask as many questions as it takes for you to understand what they do. How does their healing work? What are their techniques? How should you feel afterward?
3. This is the most important one: make sure you connect with the healer before starting the healing! During the question and answer phase, do you feel a connection? If not, don’t be afraid to walk away, they will understand.
I have had a few Reiki treatments that didn’t go well; I didn’t listen to my gut instinct. Yet, I met a wonderful Reiki Healer 2 years ago that does amazing things during a healing. I was vending at a show last year and was sitting across this healer that looks like she was picking stuff off of people. I was intrigued by the process and asked her tons of questions. She did 4th Dimensional Healing and after speaking with her I went through with the healing. It was MIND-BLOWING!!! No words could explain the transformation I went through and I can’t wait to see her again.
I’ve also done a Meridian Dance Healing. Now if you have ever seen this done, it can be intimidating to watch. I watched this man all day and I won’t lie…I was scared to do it. But I connected with the healer and knew I had to experience it. There was such a release afterwards that I cried for hours. My next healing is a Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT). SRT clears away negative energy and programs.
I was able to have such amazing healings because I observed, asked questions and connected with the healer before starting. I can almost guarantee that your healing will go well.
Here is a list of stones that can help you during the healing process:
